1001midis

1001midis.com

This site is an area where you can download midi files in order for you to use them as ringtones. This site also allows you to use the midi files provided on the site on such membership websites as MySpace and Facebook.

It is my job to frequently update the site with new ringtones, and maintain traffic to the site with SEO (Search Engine Optimized) keywords.

This site currently achieves around 1000 hits per month.

Anime Exchange

animeexchange.co.uk

This is a membership site, aimed at the Japanese Animation fan base. There is also an online store where anime and video games merchandise can be bought. This site was created in Joombla, and includes a php database.

This site offer members the ability to talk to others with similar interests, as well as interaction with the administrators.

The site also has a 4chan style image board, which is popular among anime fans. There is also a video upload area for members to share YouTube videos, as well as a wallpapers area which is frequently updated with wallpapers created by myself and other admins.

I am an administrator on the site, and it is my job to ensure that no illegal content is posted, as well as ensuring that the site is fully functional, and to try and solve any issues that may occur.

This site currently receives over 10,000 hits a month.

Anime Kiva

www.animekiva.com

This was one of the first web projects that I worked on in December 2007. This is a site that was originally set up as a paying membership site. Between December 2007 and January 2008 (when it was decided to open the site up to the public and create a UK site) we had over 150 members.

This is a html built site, which I was an administrator of. This site offers an online store selling anime and video game merchandise, and the site is full of anime information that may appeal to anime fans.

This site is still active, however, since the launch of the new site, Anime Exchange, the traffic it receives has become 300 hits per month.

Anime Zone Central

animezonecentral.com

This is the first wordpress blog that I have ever created. It was used as a way of advertising for the other sites that I was working on.

Whilst this site only achieves over 200 hits per month, it is mainly used as a way of referring to my other web projects.

This site offers news and reviews from the anime world, as well as reviews on Japanese and Asian Cinema, and anime wallpapers that I have created using the software, Photoshop.

I also created my own wordpress theme which was specific for this blog, however it was decided by the Managing Director not to use the theme that I had created.

Kiva Channel

kivachannel.com

This is the most recent site that I have been working on. Kiva Channel is a YouTube style website that allows the users to search for specific video genre, without the usual irrelevant search results.

This is another Joombla site which I have helped to create. It has been my job to research keywords in order to help create the most specific search. I have also created all of the pages, as well as the search results and the icons used.

This site is still under construction so receives no traffic at the moment until the completion of the project. We are currently working on adding more channels to the site so that users can search other categories of interest.
